Tibetan Homes School SEE Learning Committee
The SEE Learning committee at our school organized a variety of workshops and activities for teachers and students in classes 6 to 12 throughout the year. SEEL members led daily sessions focused on developing essential skills and values.
Key activities included:
- Compassionate Drawing: Students in classes 6 to 8 explored their artistic abilities through drawing.
- Poetry Writing:Students in classes 9 and 10 enhanced their creative writing skills in both English and Tibetan.
- Effective Writing: Classes 11 and 12 focused on developing writing skills centered on themes of kindness and interdependence, emphasizing the importance of ethical values in today’s world.
- Teacher Workshops: We conducted workshops to educate teachers about the SEE Learning concepts, helping them better understand social, emotional, and ethical values to enhance their teaching practices.
- SEE Learning Mentors:Mentors provided ongoing support and activities for students in classes 6 to 12, fostering emotional intelligence, resilience, and academic performance, which sets the stage for long-term success.
- Continuous Support: We maintained guidance and support for both students and teachers throughout the year.
