School Diary- THF Mussoorie

Day Schedule:

A typical day of a student at the larger homes and SOS-homes in Tibetan Homes Foundation is as follows:

A working day typically commences at around 5:30 am with a morning bell when the student wakes up and is followed by cleaning of surroundings and then P.T. for 30 minutes. Praying session for 30 minutes where all the children in each and every home gather at their respective prayer room for pray.

Children then get ready for breakfast, which is followed by self study and then school assembly at 8:30 am.

Post the assembly, it is study time and the students do their regular classes until 4:05 pm except

breaking for lunch from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.

Evening tea for children at each home after their school followed by rest till 5:00 pm.

Area cleaning from 5:00 to 5:30 pm followed by evening prayer from 5:30 to 6:00 pm.

Session from 6:00 to 7:30 pm is for self study where our senior children help younger ones with their homework.

Dinner is served from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Self study continues till 9:00 pm. Bed time at 9:00 pm. Children are off to bed for another fresh day.
