The first alumni get together of Tibetan Homes Foundation was held on 14th April, 2003 at Tsering Dolma Auditorium as part of the 360th anniversary of Gaden Phodrang Chokley Namgyal and 40th anniversary of Tibetan Homes Foundation celebrations held from the 12th to 16th April, 2003.

The programme started at 3:00 pm in the evening with a welcome address by the alumni desk followed by an introductory speech from the General Secretary highlighting the objectives of the Alumni association and thereafter suggestions and views from the ex-students were received. Some of the suggestions have been found to be very necessary and have been incorporated in the working of the section. The atmosphere at the gathering was one of excitement for the recent graduates while those who had passed out several years back felt proud to be back to their alma mater and of-course were surprised to see so much of changes at Happy Valley.

The latest copy of the school magazine, the 40th anniversary brochure and the brochure of the Alumni desk were presented to the participants. Those who had not filled in the Alumni registration forms were requested to fill the same for the office records. The gathering was then served tea and thereafter dinner was served. During the stay most of the ex-students visited their homes and rolled back to their memories with tears of joy. We welcome Ex-students to visit homes and please let us know so that we could make their visit comfortable.
