Dispensary

To cater for the Medical needs of all those under the care of Tibetan Homes Foundation, we have a health care centre with 6 Para-medical staff with a Dental therapist and a Pathologist within the Foundation premises. The health centre has a huge responsibility with so many children and oldies under its care. The running of the centre is very systematic with each individual having his or her own personal health card which is kept in the centre. Every time a patient visits the health centre, his health card is referred to. All the minor cases are handled by our staff. In case of major and emergency cases,they are referred to the Community hospital located at about of 9km away. A visiting doctor from the above hospital visits our health centre twice a week.
